THE SHOW
- Ayr County Show is the biggest two day "showing" show of light horses in Ayrshire. Held amidst the County's agricultural classes of cattle, sheep, goats it is the major rural event in the county's calendar with spectators from both urban and rural communities.
VENUE
- The Show is held on two days at Ayr Racecourse, Scotland's premier racecourse. The Light Horse section will have the best of rings with plenty hard road accesses, good walkways and facilities.

OUR UNIQUE SELLING POINT
- No other showing Show in Scotland hosts as many Royal International Horse Show qualifiers and is one of the last qualifying shows of the season for this competition.
WHERE DO COMPETITORS COME FROM?
- 90% competitors come from Scotland, mainly from Ayrshire and areas south of Aberdeen with the balance from England.
EXHIBITOR TYPE
- Mostly Competitive - they own top of the range horses and want to win - most travel many miles to qualify at various levels
